Garage sale bounty

Went to a garage sale with a friend this morning....we made out quite well. I bought....

8 books for DS...$3.00
1 Fox hoodie for DD boyfriend...$2.00
3 Old Navy sweaters for me...$3.00
6 fashion scarves for DD...$4.50


I plan to document my daily spending for one month so I will become more accountable. Everything except my houshold bills.

    M23, great plan to document spending for a month or more since the holidays are coming. I found it cost efficient to list names, potential gifts and anticipated costs for Christmas. I admit I got blown out of the water with the costs of hosting Christmas dinner so I'm already buying some holiday foods as part of bi weekly shopping.

    It's eye opening to realize how much we spend on impulse. My new mantra is ' what is the worst thing that will happen if it don't buy this item?'

    I'm getting a jump on Christmas at yard sales and on Christmas this year. And I like the documenting idea!
